From 9 to 11 May, Latvia will host the EUDIS Defence Hackathon 2025, an international defence industry hackathon for the first time.

The hackathon will focus on rapid defence solutions for the Ukrainian battlefield and similar operations. The hackathon invites participants to create solutions in one of three defence priorities: tactical surveillance systems; cost-effective battlefield protective equipment or improved military medical assistance. Solutions should be scalable, cost-effective and rapidly deployable, addressing immediate operational needs while remaining flexible in different combat scenarios.

The hackathon guidelines are attached.
